My name is Irina Oltu. I am a licensed psychologist with a degree in clinical psychology from the University of Bergen and a member of the Norwegian Psychological Association. My Norwegian healthcare professional ID is 10123490.
After completing my training, I have worked as a municipal psychologist and as an online psychologist, and have been involved in the development of digital treatment programmes. I currently run an online psychological practice and work with clients remotely.
In my work as a psychologist, I focus on creating a therapeutic setting where clients can explore what feels difficult or unclear. I approach therapy with respect for how people live their lives and often work from a “not-knowing” stance, allowing understanding to emerge collaboratively. We begin where you are and work with the whole person, rather than reducing difficulties to a diagnosis.
Alongside my clinical work, I am involved in professional development projects within e-health. This work informs my understanding of how digital solutions can support psychological health.
If this approach seems right for you, you can get in touch to explore whether working together would be appropriate.
Confidentiality and data handling
Confidentiality is a core part of my practice. Therapy sessions are not recorded, transcribed, or processed using artificial intelligence (AI). I do not use AI tools for session transcription or automated clinical documentation. All clinical documentation is handled manually and stored in accordance with professional and legal requirements for confidentiality and data protection.
